Selling or buying from Poseidon Pharmaceutical UK Limited

Your company may be looking to purchase a certain item of processing equipment. This could be to trial a product or to increase production capabilities. Good quality pre owned equipment is an excellent option. We regularly take in equipment from leading manufacturers such as – Manesty, Fette, Killian, Korsch, Swiftpack, Lock, Safeline , Aeromatic Fielder etc.

Alternatively, you may need to dispose of equipment. You may need larger capacity equipment or your product has changed. Disposing of equipment is a great way of freeing up valuable space and seeing a return on assets. You may have tablet presses, blenders, dedusters, metal checks, coaters or packaging equipment. Poseidon Pharmaceutical UK Limited is interested in purchasing.

Selling to us

  • What information do you need?
    Photographs or a video of the machine running would be great. We need to know the make, model, serial number and age of the machine. Is the machine running? Has it got manuals? We’re looking for as much detailed information as possible.
  • What about payment?
    We will discuss payment for any items we purchase during our correspondence. Once the price is agreed and terms and payment met, title of the goods will transfer to Poseidon Pharmaceutical UK Limited.
  • Do you buy internationally?
    We do. We will initially evaluate your equipment via information exchange and if necessary, we will visit your site to inspect the equipment.
  • Who is responsible for shipping?
    We would hope that you could load any purchased equipment to our vehicles. If however this was not possible, we would make any necessary arrangements with you during our negotiations.

Buying from us

  • Can I view the equipment?
    Yes. Generally, the equipment will be on site at our 12500 square foot facility in Telford, England. In some cases (i.e. large lines) the equipment may be at our customers site and we can arrange a visit for you to view.
  • What are the delivery options?
    We can organise delivery to any worldwide destination. We will discuss the options with you. Alternatively, you can organise your own collection and we will load to your vehicle.
  • What are your payment terms?
    Payment terms will be discussed during negotiations. Generally, machines that require servicing will require a 50% deposit with order and the balance will payable prior to despatch. Machines that are ready to ship will need to be paid in full prior to despatch.
  • What documentation do you supply with the equipment?
    We always try to secure the original operating and maintenance manuals when purchasing any pre-owned pharmaceutical equipment from our clients. Whilst this is not always possible, in most cases we can provide some level of documentation.
  • You haven’t got what I’m looking for – when should I check back?
    If we haven’t got specific items you are looking for, please do contact us. We are always having new stock arrive at our facility and we have a worldwide network of agents that help us source equipment too.

What are my disposal options?

  • Option 1
    We will evaluate the suitability of your surplus equipment, this may be via a visit to site or electronic information exchange. We will then agree a price and exchange paperwork. Once all paperwork and financials have been completed, we will arrange collection from site and ownership will transfer to Poseidon Pharmaceutical UK Limited. This option is particularly popular for smaller easily removed items when you need space.

  • Option 2
    Option 2 is the most popular with our existing customers. We will evaluate your equipment and agree a price. We will then exchange documents confirming the equipment remains your property until sold. The equipment will then be relocated to our facility, where we will make it ready for sale. We will be responsible for all making-ready costs, including insurance. We will market the equipment to a highly targeted audience. Once we have a buyer, we will transfer the agreed funds to you and ownership will transfer to Poseidon Pharmaceutical UK Limited. Reviews will take place at 3 and 6 months. This option gives you our best price, frees up space at your facility and removes the inconvenience of potential buyers attending your site. There are times however, with vary large plant or equipment, that the goods may stay on your site until a suitable buyer has been found.
