Quality Control & Listing
Reconditioning our machines to industry standard must come with quality checks and control to meet PPUK’s in-house standards.
This part of PPUK’s process sees the reconditioned machine/equipment in the latter stage of its time in our workshop.
This blog aims to cover how we reassure you with our reconditioning process and how our machines are presented to you.
Quality Control
Purpose of our quality control and assurance is to ensure we keep to specifications that were previously sourced from the place of purchase (see our Procurement blog for more details).
We run these specifications against the reconditioned equipment in physical tests. These range from mock tests with mock products, dry tests, software, and safety checks. Hopefully, the reconditioned machine is to an agreed level of acceptance, to which we move forward in the procedure.
If our reconditioned machine fails to meet the accepted standard, the engineering team launch an investigation on the machine- how to fix the machine and why it is not performing to standard. Once a corrective action is found, the machine undergoes physical performance test
Once the machine has been passed by the engineering team and managing director, your reconditioned machines is transported to our clean room.
Listing our Machine
The clean room provides a space for the machine to be photographed and videoed for marketplaces and social media. This content is analysed by the marketing team and managing director, picked for our marketplaces and website.
The specifications for individual machines are confirmed by our Senior Procurement Manager as well as Engineers, which are then published along with the photos of the reconditioned machinery.
