Description

The IMA TR-100XT is an automatic three-track blister packaging machine designed for the forming, product loading, sealing and discharge of pharmaceutical and other regulated blister packs.

The machine supports a broad range of forming and lidding materials, including PVC, PVC/PVDC, PVC/PE/PVDC, polypropylene, Aclar, COC and aluminium. It can operate using air thermoforming, plug-assisted thermoforming and aluminium cold forming, allowing manufacturers to select the most appropriate packaging method for their product and barrier requirements.

Depending on the product, packaging material, pack layout and feeding system, the machine offers an output range of approximately 35 to 120 blisters per minute. Forming speeds are up to 50 cycles per minute for PVC/PVDC and plug-assisted forming, and up to 35 cycles per minute for aluminium forming.

The supplied tooling package significantly increases the machine’s flexibility, supporting multiple blister formats and reducing the need for additional tooling investment.
